GBA lovely quiet , clean character cottage that gave us that rare home from home base. It is beautifully furnished like a private home. It had everything we needed: comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and fast WiFi. The log burner made it cosy in the evenings. Giles and Stacey were caring hosts. The rear garden views the golf course . The village is nice with a coffee shop , pubs and good country walks routes..

GBThe warm welcome of the host Giles was professional and also personal. Its in a quite village location. Two local pubs and shop within walking distance, and if its your thing a golf course at the end of the rear garden. The garden is superb and are very well maintained. The cottage itself is JUST STUNNING...nothing has left out in the restoration and the upkeep of the cottage, the attention to detail is mind blowing. The furniture throughout has been selected to blend in and not look out of place. The lounge has huge open fire place with a log burner. The staircase leading you to the first floor, where you will find a very large bathroom with a double sized shower. The bedroom on this floor has an Enormous bed, (so large it had 2 post codes). There is a Quirky staircase on the landing taking you to the loft room with another double bed. The property has great views. There is ample parking on the driveway.

GBWe were met by the host upon arrival. No issues checking in and the place was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Our son, being 6'3", managed the low ceilings easily enough. Basic items provided such as dishwasher tablets, tea/coffee and loo roll so best check with the hosts if you're after anything more than that to get you started. There is a washing machine too which we weren't aware of from the ad so take detergent if you will need to make use of this. Lovely location with a great cafe (Bumblebee) just a 5 minute walk away and two great pubs. Overall a lovely peaceful stay for us and we were able to make use of the fire pit in the garden which was great - you can take your own extra logs or pay for extra. We'd stay again if in the area.
What's not to like?!
GBGBGBLocation was excellent and within walking distance of shops and pubs in Rowlands Castle. Was lovely and comfy with all the amenities we required, and was beautifully furnished and decorated. Was great that there was off road parking.
The stairs could be a problem for the very young and the very old.
GBGiles is very nice and welcomed us to the cottage. Well equipped; cosy; had everything we needed.
