Panorea's Stone House

The house surpassed our expectations, offering a delightful experience both indoors and outdoors. The location is easily accessible, thanks to the clear signs around the village guiding guests to the house. The interior of the house is adorned with charming, tasteful details, creating a cozy atmosphere without feeling cluttered. During our summer visit, the village was teeming with life, and we relished the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the vibrant local culture at the two exceptional restaurants, where we enjoyed spending time with the friendly locals until late into the night. Although we only met the host on our second day his hearty welcome was very refreshing and left us with some tears when we had say good-bye

The accommodation does not feature air conditioning, with only one small fan available. Considering the summer months and potential hot nights, it would be beneficial to explore the possibility of adding additional fans to provide guests with a more comfortable and refreshing environment. Additionally, it's important to note that there is no supermarket in the village, necessitating guests to bring all essential supplies from the coast.

The host is a really nice guy, always ready to help you, provide tips and accommodate your needs. The house is a real traditional rural house with modern amenities which we really enjoy and a wonderful yard to chill.

The only thing that it is missing is an air-condition facility as it can be necessary when it has a heat wave.

Giorgos and his wife are very kind and helpful. The house is very cosy with a fireplace for romantic evenings. The view from the terrace is just amazing. You can watch beautiful sunrises from there.

Quite, great views, experience real Greek village living

Roomy upstairs dwelling with flyscreens. Great balcony, bathroom and large kitchen.

The property is advertised as a 2 bedroom house i.e a single residence. However, upon arrival it was clear that the "house" was not a house but rather two dwellings, and the second bedroom was a double bed in the lounge. Based on the photos and the description the expectation was different. Furthermore a flat screen tv was also mentioned in the facilities provided but there was no tv

Sidhirókastron and the surrounding countryside are an enchanting and peaceful base for exploring the SW of the Peloponnese. The house is spacious, warm, comfortable and full of character (old fireplace, furniture, decor, books, family photos etc). Georgi, our host on site, was very kind and helpful.

Finding the house requires more than Google coordinates, but we weren't sent a map or other instructions, and communication over the phone was very difficult (with only a few words of Greek on our part and Georgi's English being quite limited).
