"Great stay"

We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The house and location are beautiful and peaceful, the homemade jam and basic stock were much appreciated. Diana responded quickly, and had a lot of good suggestions for things to do and places to eat, and made sure that we had everything we needed. Note that there is little available in the faja itself so having a car will make your stay easier. Raymundo (local cat) also made sure to make us feel welcome :)

It was very clean and a great fit for our family. The down stairs room was perfect for my mother and father who stayed with us. Diana was very helpful and checked in on us to make sure we had whatever we needed.

The beds could have been a little more comfortable, they were kind of hard.

Absolutely gorgeous, both the location and the accommodation. Artistically decorated. Quiet, private. Sounds of the ocean and seabirds. Responsive host. Nice washing machine and dryer. Host provided long list of recommended places to visit and restaurants

Very firm bed mattress. Check the island holiday schedule beforehand. We ended up visiting during Holy Spirit celebrations; grocery stores and most restaurants were not open.

Diane is an excellent host. The oranges, fruit and jams provided are local and delicious :-) Beautiful property with view of ocean and accessibility to several trails from the property. Great place as a base to explore the island. Great value for the money

Diana was a wonderful host, and her property was one of our favorites! Faja das Vimes is a beautiful area, and the home and its surroundings were wonderful! Diana was super helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay! She provided lots of information regarding places to see and things to do on Sao Jorge. Her house was quiet and very comfortable, and we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, and touring the coffee plantation there.

The only suggestion we have, for all of the properties would be to provide fans. After a hotter than normal summer, even in September, it would have been more comfortable, especially for sleeping, to have more air movement
