Sofias House Rental

Caretakers were friendly, Internet was good, rooms were big enough for big family.

More than 30mins away from city, no restaurants nearby, no grabcar, however caretaker able to help with transport. House was little dusty, and fishy smell, springy bed, not enough blanket, only 1 hot shower and air-conditioning available in the main room. Unable to adjust air-conditioning temperature so it was quite warm.

Not really a thing, left after one night on a three night rental.

It was listed as air con, but only one of the three bedrooms were and the unit was not consistent. The wifi was not working and when I opened the backdoor, there is a family living in the back and they work on trikes in the yard.

They treated us like family! The house was huge, and very clean. 6 people could easily stay there. The family who lives in a small house on the propety took excellent care of us. My Fiancee who has diabetes had to go tothe hospital for a couple of days. The owners of Sophia's MaryJane and Roland made every effort to assist us. We spent 26 days at Sophia's House. It was a great trip and we plan to go back again. I can highly recommend staying there. I work remotely, the internet service was excellent 30mbs with very little down time. As you can see there is a lot to photograph and do here!!

The kitchen ware could have been a little better, but we were able to make due with out to much trouble. The road in front of the house was a little rough,

We enjoyed everything about the house. It was clean and set up well. In the mornings at low tide we had a blast exploring in the ocean. Some locals showed how to search for clams in the seaweed beds out front. We had a rental car and the house is pretty well centrally located for exploring Bohol and Panglao. The family that stays in back of the property was a joy as well.

Nothing jumps out at me to write about for things I didn’t like.

The house is spacious and has everything you need. They offer cheap airport transfers.

Staff didn't know we're coming. Their kids opened the gate and we waited for them to vacuum the rooms and change the bedsheets.

A great place to stay in Tagbiliaran city , about 10 minutes ride to 2 shopping malls and about 7 minutes drive to the ferry terminal. About 40 minutes drive from Alona Beach. Owners are very hospitable and helpful . If you need transport anywhere they can arrange it at a decent price. Theres a nice beach about 1 minute walk from the property in which you can swim or fish. The internet was good for the area and we had minimul power disruptions. Has a beautriful balcony and is a very large , spacious house for a family. I recommend you hire a scooter to get you from point A to B .

It wasn’t very good in kitchen area having small ants , could not do much cooking and storage also was problem because ants and there was no television’s program after couple days staying during holidays , we informed about problems to Caretaker no action was taken and there was not much cooking utensils inside kitchen and leak under sink when released water after cleaning we also add to bye items Kitchen essentials for our self
