Misleading listing – shared attic room in private home, no privacy. We booked a “Deluxe Room” at CAL CUP Habitaciones but left immediately after seeing the actual conditions — we did not stay here at all. In reality, it’s an attic room inside the owners’ private apartment, not a separate hotel room. To get there, you must walk through the hosts’ personal living space, including their kitchen, and climb narrow, steep stairs. The terrace mentioned in the listing may exist somewhere, but there is no direct access from this room. The bathroom and toilet are completely open in the same space as the bed, which the owner called a “unique loft style” — but this was never mentioned or shown clearly in the listing. When we raised concerns, the hostess reacted aggressively, and another man told us to “go to Calafell and rent another hotel.” This was nothing like what was advertised. We have photos and videos proving the discrepancy.

It is unique and the owners are great. A dip in the swimming pool in the cellar is a must. Located in a small and relaxed town, perfect if you want to forget about your daily worries for a day or two.

It is better to have some time to find the location and a place to park, if you arrive driving a car. I guess it is something that is good to know for future guests.
