Boss’s farmhouse

Simply amazing stay at this truly wonderful location. The house is so cosy and is a great place to base yourself for local travel. It has everything that you would need for a relaxing stay and I just wish I had more time to enjoy this stay and the Island. I shall be back 👌

We did not stay here it had a sewage problem so Kathleen gave us The Blue Cottage Valentia

We arrived at Blue Cottage and outside looked like a building site. When we entered the property the damp fusty smell was awful. It alk looked clean and bathroom was newly refurbished. But unfortunately the bed linen was damp and fusty. We tried to get alternate place ro stay but everywhere was booked up. Do not stay at The Blue Cottage Valentia.

The house couldn't be cuter!! Large, updated bathroom. Had a lovely evening relaxing. Hoping to return one day to spend a few more nights exploring the island.

Fires blazing when we arrived, very comfortable and homely atmosphere. Host couldn't be more helpful. Will definitely return

We loved the peat/wood burning stoves in the living room and kitchen. The electric bed heaters, Netflix and all the items needed to heat the stoves was great. Host was very helpful finding catering for our Christmas dinner and help with some minor issues. Loved the big shampoo/conditioner and soap in the bathroom.

Honestly, the only problem we had was figuring out which side of the road the property was on. We couldn't find an address or a name on a mailbox.

we arrived as a family of five late in the evening and it would have been nice to have a small welcome such as milk in the fridge and tea bags.
