Villa Canescandeu

The property does what it says on the tin. It is quite spacious and air conditioning works well. Sleeps 8 with 3 bathrooms. Wi-fi was good. Outside seating and eating areas very good. Good table tennis table. Access to the drive is OK but a bit tight for an SUV. Good location for access to Pollenca and short drive to vibrant Port de Pollenca.

The pool was not clean and the filter was not working properly so there was a scum on it most of the time. None of our 8 family members used it during our 5 days. The owner came out promptly when we asked him and put on the filters but they never really worked. Shame. The decor and furniture is a bit old and tired and the showers were very leaky so water went all over the bathroom floors.

The outdoor space and swimming pool were lovely. The kitchen was modern and had everything you coukd need. When I mentioned that the hair dryer was broken, a new one was delivered that day. Communication was great and all queries answered very quickly.

The ensuite fittings were a bit old and the room was very small. The villa is set up to be cool in summer but unfortunately we had very cold weather and although the bedrooms had heat, the sitting room didn't and we were cold in the evenings.

it’s a little dated, though that was no big issue as it was immaculately clean.
