"Good stay, but can be improved."

The owner communicates very quickly and kindly, they were helpful in everything. Location - very quiet and nice place by the ocean. The neighbors are quiet, nothing disturbs you. A short distance from the house is a small shop for buying basic food. The possibility of parking in front of the house is guaranteed. A good starting point for trips around the island.

We arrived the day after the tropical storm Gaston, which greatly affected the overall stay. The windows were open so there were puddles of water in the house. The weather was gloomy and rainy during the stay, so the house was dark and uninviting the whole time. The house is very dark inside - only a few small windows and therefore little access to light (which does not match the photos!). There were a lot of spiders as well! The shower has a very low stream + the bathroom is very dark. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable to sleep in. Quite a musty smell in the house.

Location!! Close to the beach and the natural pool. Silent town. Great service and welcome pack. Fuly equiped kitchen.

"Don't trust that bed!"

Adega is a charming place to stay located near sea with a beautuful sidewalk. House has all neccessary stuffs and a little garden entirely covered of lava stones.

Bed is very unconfortable and small. Our five days stay was very stressing for our backs and necks. Situated 15 km from São Roque and more than 30km from Madalenda position is very hard to reach without a rental car. YOU DO NEED CAR/SCOOTER 'cause there are only two busses per day during working days and one on holidays/sunday. This should be put in the description. The other way to move is TAXI but is so expensive 35/40€ from Madalena in 2022.

"Best place to stay in the North coast"

The apartment is a super comfortable lava-house fully equipped for a cosy and homely stay (it also has some basic supplies for kitchen, washing machine, bathroom etc). We appreciated the location very much - super quiet, in front of the ocean, in an extremely off-track town in the North coast (not a touristy place). Very close to a nice ocean pool and a lovely tapas bar. Washing machine + drier was the DEFINITIVE winning combination for Azorean weather ;)

The upstairs room, being right under the roof, might be a little hot in the summer
