Villa Carmen

Property was very clean and spacious for a group of 7 people, rooms are decent sizes, and the garden with pool was perfect and a nice chilled day, everything you need in a kitchen, area is nice and peaceful and has a beautiful view of the sea and town, would definitely stay here again!

Only downside to the property is, it’s up a steep hill, and about a 15-20 minute walk into the town where shops and restaurants are, taxi cost us €3-€4 back up the hill to the property and there are electric scooters you can hire nearby the property so it was easy to get up and down without having the long walk in the heat if you didn’t feel like it.

WiFi didn’t reach out of the lounge area. Could do with some maintenance.

Used taxis regularly as not much around in the local area . Horrific road works every where

Lots of small things:- Door key broke and was stuck in the keyhole had to phone for help as locked out on 1st evening😳This was sorted promptly 👍 Tap in kitchen comes off in hand😳 Kitchen door handle comes off in hand 😳 Curtain rail in lounge not secure😳 Our stay was for a month had to phone to get fresh towels and bedding 😳 No suitable facilities to dry bedding and large towels so we purchase a line and pegs to put washing out 😳 Booked a 4 bedroom villa for 4adults to be told later they would lock 2 of the bedrooms and 1of the 3 bathrooms to stop us using them ?????? We enjoyed the villas space and out side was nice and tidy with great views and nice pool cleaned regularly 👍 There were only 3sun loungers and 2sun chairs one of which was broken. Got no response when we commented on lack of sun beds😳 In general the villa could do with a freshen up and lots of small maintenance tasks done .

All good when we arrived early it was no problem when the girls finished cleaning everything pristine our week was so comfortable definitely be back

Everything you could need is provided its a very comfortable villa with a lovely pool and lounging area. The beds are comfortable and the villa is presented in a shabby chic style. The bathrooms are excellent and all of the villa was spotlessly clean. The host Manuel was great, he communicated excellently and any issues we had he dealt with quickly. The location is great, but we knew it was up the hill so it wasn't an issue. Taxi cost €3.80 on average.

Theres a central staircase inside the villa which has no roof so it feels very exposed and the bedrooms on the ground floor feel very separate and isolated from the rest of the villa. The outside tables & chairs are uncomfortable and showing wear and need replacing with newer comfier ones as we spent majority of our time outside.
