Had everything we needed, except for a corkscrew and it would’ve been nice if there’s a couple of sunbeds on one of the balconies to stretch out on in the sunshine

There was a some traffic noise but we new about it in advance, and it could do with a really good clean up outside a lot of rubbish on the path leading up to the apartment

The apartment is wonderful for families or friends of up to 8 people, Two of which would have to sleep on the sleeper sofa in the living room. The fact that the apartment has two bathrooms makes it especially convenient for this amount of guests. As for relaxation: the nearest small beach is only a 5 minute walk from the apartment. The host of the apartment responds very quickly and adequately to all messages on Booking.com. Also to questions regarding the area. Late night arrivals are possible, which was very useful for us.

We did not do enough homework on the general area surrounding Santa Marinella. We were hoping to do multiple day trips to historical towns nearby such as is possible in the province of Tuscany. We didn't realize that this particular area doesn't have many of such historic towns within a one hour distance. The area surrounding Santa Marinella focuses mainly on domestic tourism and not so much on international tourists.

situated above a bar that had live music on Saturday night, so was very noisy until 1am. it didn’t bother us too much, but may not be suitable for those with young children. It may not have been a regular occurrence as it wasn’t mentioned in any other reviews.
