Great location, lots of room downstairs inside. Kitchen fantastic for us all (7) plenty of room. Dog friendly, pub, chip shop, Indian all within walking distance.

"Clean, warm and comfortable."

The Coach House was clean, warm and comfortable and very well equipped. Its size was great for the six of us - and the dog - with a cavernous sitting room. Unfortunately we didn't spend a great deal of time in there as the kitchen proved to be perfect for playing games and chatting after after long walks. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms very clean - although taller guests might have to crouch a bit in the showers (I am told). All in all, highly recommended!

The property was well equipped and clean. The property was easy to find and the host gave useful detailed instructions prior to arrival. It is in a good location for walking. There is a pub across the road that serves very good food. We would be happy to stay here again.

The blinds in the two smaller double bedrooms tended to loop down and let the light in. It might be better to have blinds fitted to the actual skylight in these rooms.

"Overall, a lovely stay in a beautiful cottage, but needs attention to details."

The location and cottage were beautiful. Kitchen equipment was plentiful with items such as washing up liquid, tea bags and dishwasher tabs provided. Small welcome basket on arrival was appreciated. Lounge area was large and well fitted with comfy sofas suited to the number of guests staying. Small, but lovely garden area.

Blinds in bedrooms 2 and 3 are totally inadequate for velux windows and occupants were awake by 5:00 am every morning due to the light. No bedside tables or lights in bedroom 3. No lock on downstairs toilet door. Cobwebs in main bedroom and en suite bathroom.

"Lovely family break"

Lovely location in the centre of the Peak District. Plenty of places to visit nearby with the property particularly well served with eateries within a walkable distance. Loads of room for a big family, great facilities and a nice large parking area too.

"A lovely house in a beautiful area."

Immaculately clean. The practical large kitchen/dining room and comfortably furnished lounge suited our family perfectly. Bedrooms very comfortable. The host, Louise was very helpful.

Nothing to dislike.
