The stairs. Because I feel down.

To jest przepiękny domek, w spokojnej lokalizacji, urządzony bardzo przytulnie, ale jednocześnie komfortowo z wszystkimi udogodnieniami. Wokół cudownie pachnący ogród, a w nim liczne ławki, stoliki, fotele, nic tylko odpoczywać.

Wszystko mi się podobało :-)

The location was good. Close drive to walking. Walkable to supermarket. We loved the character of the house and property. Small and simple, but had everything we needed.

Even with a small car the parking was awkward to use. Several light switches were located too high for short people.

The owner sent messages on Booking Com in German - I was busy so just wanted to quickly read them - I didn’t end up reading them. On Booking Com there was a four digit PIN number presumably for a keypad box. The address was number 17. There was a phone number. When I arrived there were TWO adjoining small properties - one was number 17 so I thought it was mine - but didn’t have a keypad - the next one (not I thought mine) did have a keypad. Number 17 was locked. I did not try to open the key box on the other one via the PIN number but it didn’t work. So no-one around and I couldn’t get in. I tried the phone number but I couldn’t understand the message- it was on answerphone with German spoken. A German arrived nearby but he could not help. It was getting dark so I booked a local hotel for the night. On arrival I sent a message regarding the problem to Booking Com It was replied to, saying the property would be open for me next morning. When I arrived number 17 was still locked. The adjoining one which had no address was open !! Facilities in property OK but had a log fire downstairs - so no heating appliance downstairs. There were 8 sides of information in German on laminate sheets with just one in English. So if anything serious may have happened I might have struggled. I noticed 3 separate small slips of paper pinned to the roof beams in English requesting do not put more than 3 logs on the fire. I could not get the cooker to work. The German instructions were on 2 of the laminates. I finally solved this via the Internet. Also via Google Translate I checked out Stefan’s messages. One was very long with directions involving every tunnel you go through from the airport etc Ridiculous! No good if you are alone. Thankfully my hire car had SatNav. So not a good start. I asked Stefan to refund my €75 as I felt all this was mainly his fault. He refused.

We stayed in Casa Antiga. The house is so charming ... Every single corner makes you feel home.... With good weather you can enjoy the terrace outside with Sea Views. The location is perfect... Well communicated with the highlights of the Island...and the little town where is located has a small supermarket and a nice restaurant. The bed is very comfortable...And we could enjoy the fireplace. Very recommended.

A little Sofa in the first floor good be fantastic. The parking place of Casa Antiga is very small.....you need to rent a really small one car..although we could park everyday easily in the intersection just in front.

Such a lovely place to stay. All the facilities were wonderful and all the little extra touches really added to our experience. Would most definitely stay here again - 10/10
