Borgo Cantagallo Casa Ofelia

Wat een fantastische plek! Vanaf het warme ontvangst tot het vriendelijke afscheid voelden we ons enorm welkom. De accommodatie was brandschoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. De jacuzzi was heerlijk en hygiënisch, met badjassen en handdoeken netjes klaargelegd. Ook de hottub in de rustige tuin met prachtig uitzicht was een groot pluspunt. Extra handig: er is zelfs een elektrische laadpaal. Een attent gebaar was de fles wijn aan de deur vanwege een verjaardag, dat laat zien hoe gastvrij de eigenaren zijn. Een absolute aanrader. Wij komen zeker terug!

The property had everything you would want and need for a luxurious family holiday. The setting, the attention to detail and all the little individual touches, the scenery, utilities, hot tub made it fabulous.

Absolutely everything. The space, the utilities, the hot tub, everything was perfect.

Ein super tolles Ferienhaus, top ausgestattet, sehr sauber und in sehr schöner Lage oberhalb des Gardasee. Die Gastgeber waren außergewöhnlich und herzlich, wie bei Freunden!

Oceniam pobyt w skali 10/10. Bardzo polecam to miejsce na wypoczynek w ciszy, spokoju. Miejsce idealne. Czystość, super klimat i blisko do najważniejszych punktów, takich jak mały sklepik i świetna restauracja 100 metrów od domu. Właściciele od samego początku pozostają w świetnym kontakcie, przekazują mnóstwo praktycznych i cennych informacji, z linkami, mapami i rekomendacjami dot. miejsc które warto zwiedzić, zobaczyć i spróbować. Lokalizacja miejsca pozwala w kilka minut dotrzeć do centrum Limone, 30 min do Riva garda. Jakość pokoi, wykończenie i super klimat z gajem oliwnym oraz balią powodują, że po powrocie ze zwiedzania można świetnie zrelaksować się i naładować baterie na dalsze zaplanowane trasy.

Ideāla atrašanās vieta klusā skaistā ciematiņā. Ļoti jauki ğimenei ar bērniem. Ļoti patīkams saimnieks Franko, kas izdarīja visu, lai mūsu atvaļinājums izdotos. Māja ir stilīga, plaša un gaiša, svaigs remonts. Aprīkota ar visu nepieciešamo.

On arrival, the owner's father who lives nearby met us at the property despite we arrived after 9pm. He showed us the property and kindly contacted the local restaurant (Trattoria Pizzeria Primavera) so we can get some pizza for dinner as the restaurant has stopped food service. The facility has exceeded our expectation and more impressive than the photos on booking.com. The property has one indoor Jacuzzi and one communal outdoor Jacuzzi. The outdoor Jacuzzi is shared with another property from the same owner, we rarely saw them at the outdoor Jacuzzi during our week stay. The property is situated at a traditional Italian village rather than a popular holiday town. This is perfect for me but it may not be for everyone. It is closer to Limone sul Garda. The scenery is beautiful from the village. We did a nice walk around the village itself. The hospitality is exceptional. We had croissants delivered to us free by the owner's father at one morning. The owner has also bought two kids T-shirts locally for my daughters (aged 3 and 5). The room service is not just a change of towels and bed sheets but a nice 3-hour deep cleaning. The value of the property is exceptional. It is on average £100 per couple (per bedroom) per night, which is £50 per person per night for our one-week of stay. We hired a car but people without private transport may find difficult. We cannot comment on the local transport as we have not explored it. However, I would be very happy to stay at the property without going anyway for a whole week.

We spent 5 nights at the Borgo Cantagallo Casa Ofelia. The restored and beautifully maintained house has three bedrooms with their own bathrooms, a combined living room/kitchen and an exceptional wellness area in the basement (a large jacuzzi with its own relaxing area and a bathroom). The interior of the house is designed with taste, the modern furnishing and appliances are of high quality. Everything is very clean and well cared for. The olive garden with lake and mountain views at the back of the property is beautiful, a perfect place for relaxing. The Codogni family is very nice, they made us feel at home. Franco and Valentina are always very friendly and caring. They offered us welcoming drinks, and Franco even brought croissants on the first morning. They gave good advice for nearby restaurants and tips for traveling around. The road from Limone sul Garda up to the house – only a few kilometers away but some 500 meters higher in elevation - has some very steep and narrow turns that can be challenging first but enjoyable afterwards. In sum, everything was perfect, we would love to go back! Thank you, Franco and Valentina!

Our experience was great and we didn’t want to leave.. this house is amazing- well designed, clean and comfortable. The hosts were really friendly and surprised us every day with different goodies- fresh strawberries, wine, cookies and chocolate for our girls.. it’s the perfect place for relaxation.
