Gorgeous 3 bedroom - 9 mins to Hartford, Connecticut

Furniture was very uncomfortable. Living room area as well as bedroom.

Everything was great. No complaints!

Location was fine, though a more highly trafficked street than we'd expected.

The toilet paper holders were awkwardly placed in both bathrooms, and the one upstairs was broken so the toilet paper roll fell off every time you tried to use it. It was also difficult in the back bedroom to both use the AC to keep it cool enough to sleep, but also close the curtains enough not to have the streetlight shining directly in all night and the sun doing the same in the morning. It took a good bit of fiddling the second day to jury rig the curtain that so we could actually get a good night's sleep the second night.

The location was fine. Easy entry into the property and quick communication with the host.

The property was filthy and unkept. There were many broken and damaged items. The pictures are apparently from when the property was first listed. The AC units are duct taped into the windows. There were hairs on the sheets and floors of the bathrooms. The stairs to the basement where the washer and dryer are located are unstable. The vent in the bathroom had months of dust on it. I made the owner aware and she was very apologetic and is investigating the issues I reported.

This was a quaint older 2 story colonial property that was clean and well maintained. It has a large fenced in back yard for the dog to roam around.

Had to back up onto a busy street to get out.
