Gwel an Heyl, Padstow

Location scenic and quiet, if a little remote. Facilities were very good. The hot tub was appreciated, despite a very rainy week. The TVs were appreciated especially by our younger members. The second TV room was liked, and well used. The grounds were well kept, All the fixtures and fittings were of a high standard, Plenty of parking area for cars (up to 4)

The heating was not controllable? Lots of illuminated panels which did nothing, even the temperature displayed was questionable, no descriptions were given on its operation; some rooms were cold. Lighting control seemed complicated. The sink in the rooms off the kitchen had a slow leak from the (chrome) trap. The popup waste in the sink did not seal and water leaked away, I believe that this occurred in other sinks too. Surprisingly the property was not locked when we arrived. Surprisingly in such a high spec, place the bed clothes were not ironed.

most loved was the walk in shower, the hot tub and outdoor seating! my kids would say the secret snug/games room! and the short walk down to the trail!
