Walnut Cottage

Absolutely stunning and lovely cottage, I wish we could have stayed longer. Such a perfect distance to walk to town, central to stow and other towns. Could not recommend more!!

We loved the beds, the decor, the goodie basket , the garden, the location, ….. it was wonderful! The shower was spectacular. Nice walk to Falconry. We arrived early and the owner let us store our luggage in her shop for the day.

Everything was great. If you pushed me for an answer, I would say it would have been nice to have a little shelf or rack in the shower for my soap & shampoo.

Clear communication, value for money great location and lovely decor.

Possibly would like some more storage space in the second bedroom however we managed

The cottage is absolutely stunning. I loved the local character and honouring the age and history of the building, while the renovations added modern touches and comforts. The exposed stone is beautiful, the open fireplace was so atmospheric, and the garden was tranquil and big. The cottage is super cozy and the beds were very luxurious and nice to sleep in. The shower was strong and hot. The huge spa towels and towel warmer were luxe. The kitchen had everything we needed and the welcome basket was so sweet and thoughtful! The cottage is also designed beautifully and thoughtfully. We enjoyed the public footpaths nearby and the high street with shops. Perfect location. Stay longer if you can!

Bit hard to find. Locals helped us out. Some of the kitchen equipment was well used but owners were super responsive and receptive to feedback!

The curtains/blinds were broken in some places such as the master bedroom (top floor) & kitchen so light was limited in some areas

This can't be helped because it's an old cottage but the stairs are very old and you have to be really careful. My daughter was very pregnant and was frightened she fell

Cosy. Nice little garden out back. Comfortable beds, hot water , heating.

Steep stairs, not suitable for people with disabilities. Oven wasn’t very clean.
