Casa do Rio - Eido do Pomar

Great property that is very private yet very close to shops and restaurants. The river is beautiful. Not sure if this happens year round or not but the river would go from calm and shallow to raising by 2-3 feet in a matter of an hour or so. Doesn't detract at all from the stay just something to be mindful of if you have children and are swimming. Lots of bird life and other animals. We saw a snake and lizards during our stay. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need. We'd definitely recommend staying here as the value is fantastic and there is lots to see within a reasonable amount of driving. We hope to come back some day!

Tennis court would be better with a fence around it to reduce having to chase after balls.

Loved our stay at this cozy stone house! Stylish, clean, and fully equipped, it was a perfect retreat. The riverside setting was serene, and the communication with the host was fantastic.

Refurbished gated traditional property along the river, giving access to the wonderful serra da Penada, with all needed equipment for a family moment.

The surrounding was really beautiful 🤩 the cottage is next to a river. it’s beautiful and will sure will go again :)
