The hot tub! 😁 The views, the peace and quiet.

There was noise from a machine running throughout the night, it sounded like a loud washing machine. Not too bad in bedroom but bothersome for one that got the living room bed. Property was listed as being in Playa San Juan and it is actually in Piedra Hincada, a 10€ cab ride away.

This place is a little slice of paradise! I highly recommend renting this charming little cottage to anyone traveling by car. It has everything you need – a large jacuzzi, a fantastic barbecue area with firewood, a well-equipped cottage with a washing machine, and the hotel owner even provided various games for entertainment (playing cards, dice, board games, dominoes, and even a bocce ball set and darts). We didn't feel the need to visit restaurants every evening because we preferred grilling outdoors. The location is very peaceful, with no car traffic around and a small farm nearby. The jacuzzi and outdoor fireplace offer stunning views of the ocean, and at night, you can relax in the hot water while stargazing due to minimal light pollution in the area. It's a perfect place to unwind from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! The property owner was always available and ready to assist with any questions. I'll definitely come back here again. Thank you for a wonderful time in tranquility and serenity.

I would like to put out a sincere warning against renting this property! Due to an emergency we were forced to place a booking during holidays on very short notice. We accepted more than double the normal price because we understand an owner‘s right to use the high season like this. We also accepted issues, such as lose tiles in the bathroom. But what we could not accept was the fact that there was no warm water at the property. We gave sufficient time to fix this but after 2 out of 3 days stay with only cold water after a flight to get on the island, and no info from owner whether this could be fixed during our stay at all, we left the property and went to another location with extra cost on top. We understand that technical issues can always happen. But what is completely unacceptable was the fact that we were asked to pay also the third day of stay even though such essential things as warm water could not be provided and we were forced to move on for a hot shower. The owner insisted on on keeping this 3rd day and just told us ‚water was broken, now is working again‘ on the afternoon of the 3rd day with us already gone of corse. Only after involving booking.com the owner generously offered a free night to stay. As he initially ignored our reasonable claim to not be charged if service can’t be provided, the offer came on the day of our departure. Felt like this was considered in the offer right from beginning. So thanks for nothing Juan, or for ruining 3 days of a vacation without any way to show the understanding that for collecting money from guests, you also have to offer at least the basics.

Small but cool, great view, perfect whirlpool, quiet, good kitchen, good bathroom.

No place for clothing, not even a small wardrobe due to missing space. Be prepared to live out of your small suitcase.

We liked the location, the view on the sea from the property, the hot tube, the great BBQ with lovely firewood provided as part of the rental price, the overall outdoor space with always both a sunny and shadowy area, the ability to park the car inside, the compactness of the property limiting the amount of cleaning at the end it's small but as a couple it's enough knowing you spend most of your time outside anyway, the village nearby that has everything you need including a CSC and finally the bed which was comfy

We didn't like the hundreds of flies during the day (they mainly go where the sun shines and are gone at night); we knew it would be the case from other reviews so had brought an electrical fly zapper but it didn't work at all while it works wonders in the UK (UK flies must be sun deprived so get lured into it while Spanish ones don't) and a spray that did kill plenty and brought it back to decent levels when too many showed up at once. Also there isn't a lot of space inside the house and barely any place to put your clothes; now granted it's always warm you don't need a lot and it's manageable but traveling light is still advised. Finally at the time of our visit at least there was an issue with the boiler which means getting warm water was very technical in the way the taps needed to be opened and success didn't last long either so it made for short showers.

Outside area need’s outside fans instead of just lights to keep the flies away, but had nowhere to sit Inside to get away from flies, hot tub very cold and couldn’t get it to warm up

It is a quiet and nice place with jacuzzi and pretty terrace. you have nice view around with banana and aloe farms.

It is a bit isolated so you have to drive or get taxi to get to the sea, shop or entertainment areas.

Great view, lovely hot tub. Peaceful and great for a couple. Nice BBQ and outside area. Convenient parking.

Nothing we didn’t like. Just be sure to get clear directions from host as the booking.com ones didn’t take us to the right location.
