The house is large and comfortable. Perfect for families. It even had an ice machine! There was no load shedding at all, which was a pleasant change. The area felt safe and the beach nearby is fantastic!

Electric blankets in winter would have been a real plus.

Our host met us at the house, she was very kind and helpful and attentive throughout our stay. The house was perfectly pet friendly, properly fenced, across the road from a small park and a short walk to the river, so perfect if you need to take your pets with you. The house has everything you need, very nice crockery and cutlery and pots and pans and a gas stove. It is an old house but it's a practical and comfortable house.
