I never got to stay there

I booked this for my family including our 6 month baby girl halfway down the motorway on our long journey to Cornwall I receive a call from booking.com stating that my accommodation had been cancelled we were basically stuck at the service station for hours trying to desperately book somewhere else I later found out that the property owners had allowed the previous guests to extend their stay absolutely unbelievable
