Quinta del Encanto

Great view of the city and bay. Very nice patio area outside of our villa doors. Wonderful area to relax with a morning coffee and watch the sun rise over the bay. Pool was a few steps away and was heated. Nice to take a dip in after a day of activity and relax with a drink. It was never busy and felt like our own private pool at times. Well maintained and landscaped grounds. Excellent daily housekeeping service. Paul, the owner, was easy to communicate with and quickly responded to any questions we had.

Our villa was an older unit and could use a bit of updating. Very dim lighting in the kitchen and bathroom and difficult to see when preparing food in the kitchen and taking a shower in the bathroom or applying makeup. Better brighter lighting in those areas would have been a big help. Toilet was prone to plugging and we needed to plunge it frequently. Bamboo blinds did not work properly on the windows and we could not roll them up. Steep hill to walk up to the building but that was ok. Good workout for us twice a day after eating too many tacos!

The studio apartment was beautiful. We had everything that we needed. It was really nice to have sharp knives etc everything that we needed for the kitchen including condiments. The bed was soft and the pillows were not too big. The outdoor patio area had an amazing view and the pool was warm. I would highly recommend it. You might want to take a taxi. At least when you arrive with your luggage. Without luggage the walk up the hill is just fine. My husband is 72 and I’m 71.

Eight friends stayed at Quinta Del Encanto for three nights in late November 2024 and had a wonderful time. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and were awed by the beautiful view and peaceful atmosphere. A fruit basket awaited in each room. Each of us chose separate accommodations - either staying singly, as a couple, or 4 friends in the two bedroom, two bath Casa Allegre. One morning lovely Maribel made us a delicious breakfast of coffee, fresh squeezed OJ, scrambled eggs, tortillas, cheese, avocado and a fresh fruit platter, all set up on the patio overlooking the ocean. We made breakfast in the large kitchen on another morning, and Maribel bought our requested ingredients. It was a relaxing, delightful stay, and we really appreciated Paul and Juan Carlos’ hospitality and care. It’s the perfect place for a group of friends to stay and connect!

The property is located high on a hillside. Be prepared for stairs, which are easily navigable for those who are ambulatory. One of our friends is 82 and was able to slowly climb the stairs.

We loved the view from the little table outside. The relaxing atmosphere and the cleanliness of the facilities as well as the privacy, made our stay a very pleasant experience. Paul & Luis are the best, as well as Maribel and Don Ceci :)

Even we did not need it, it would be nice to have some kind of accessibility for people with walking limitations.

The property has beautiful views of the Bay. It was more beautiful than the pictures - very spacious with three floors including a rooftop patio. The staff maintaining the property were wonderful.
