La Finca del Morro

I loved the surroundings, the garden, the pool, the quiet! Very serene and beautiful. Our hosts were very nice and accommodating. 10/10

We loved the amazing pool, great grill and all the stuff that was at our disposal. We really enjoyed every minute we were staying in the villa. The dogs there are the friendliest dogs and they are always around for a back scratch. The hosts were very kind and helpful. I would recommend to stay there to anyone.

I think it would be fair to be more transparent that the owners live on the property as well. But it is almost impossible to even notice them. They are like house-elfs from Harry Potter books. You can just see something was cleaned over night or that the small dog is out on the garden. Also, the master bedroom has really small bed. It is good for couples, but not that good for two friends.

The environment is excellent, but the hosts (Auxi and Juan Pedro) were super nice, never intrusive, so "at our disposal", and always facilitating whatever we needed. The place is a paradise due to their hard work done in it, and our kids did not want to leave, either us, so I think it explains enough. Thanks to both!

The matras of the bed above was quite hard, but we adapted ourselves and everyone was happy at the end.

It was an oasis of peace and calm away from the hustle & bustle of the beach resorts. Superb setup with fantastic facilities, everything you can wish for. We got great use out of bbq, pool and gym. Kids got a kick out of collecting the freshly laid eggs from the chickens. It’s a great base from which to explore the island. Best to have a car and there is secure parking on the site. Hosts were super helpful and always welcoming, making sure we felt at home.

The inside space is lovely but the outside space is just a paradise - and so big. It's has been so well thought out and looked after, with the amazing pool area, several lovely seating areas, barbecue, gym, table tennis and pool, the chickens and fruit trees that provided fresh food! This was our first experience of a salt water pool and we were worried it would be harsh on the eyes and skin but we couldn't have been more wrong. It is so much more gentle and refreshing than chlorine, and the owners cleaned it out pretty much every morning before we were awake! Amazing. The owners (who live next door) were amazing - so helpful and friendly when we wanted anything, but left us completely in peace the rest of the time. There are fish, turtles, chickens, and their two lovely dogs (but only if you say you're happy for them to wander around, otherwise they are kept separate). Our kids loved all of it - as did we. We tried all of the owners restaurant recommendations and El Cordero was particularly good - especially for the environment as it is in a banana plantation and super quirky. El Portillo was also delicious. We can't recommend this place highly enough for a peaceful break. We've stayed in a lot of villas and holiday homes over the years and this is our favourite so far.

Our family of 5 absolutely loved our stay at La Finca. Juan & Auxi are wonderful hosts and made every effort to keep the place clean and make our stay as comfortable as possible. A beautiful place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. A great location with shops & restaurants all within walking distance in San Miguel. A great base for anyone looking to explore the island.

Absolutely everything! Auxi and her husband went above and beyond to make our stay perfect for our first family holiday with 2 kids! Couldn't think of better hosts for a holiday and will definitely be recommending and returning!

Nothing! (The weather at times wasn't great but that's nobody's fault!!)

Outside area is spacious, private. A paradise with nice heated pool. The owners are helpful, very kind, close but never too close. Hospitality at its best form!

Nothing, maybe the weather could have been slightly better

Good location, southern part of the island 15 minutes drive from the south. airports. The town of San Miguel is a 20-minute walk away, and resort areas such as Las Ametikas are easily accessible by car. I really liked everything because the property was very well maintained and very clean. Every corner was thoughtfully designed to make both adults and children feel comfortable. Children can make friends with dogs and meet turtles and chickens. Children can play in the sand under the palm tree. Ipasum has a very good chlorine-free heated pool. There is an ideal place for a barbecue. The hosts are wonderful, hospitable. We were allowed to stay longer because the flight was late in the evening, they took us to the airport and did not accept payment for it. We will be back next year.
