Lovely property in the heart of Somerset

We loved every moment we spent in this beautiful cottage! The layout was perfect for our family get together, as the open plan ground floor with it's ample seating and large table meant that everyone could spread out and sit comfortably whilst still talking / eating / cooking. The ground floor bedroom / bathroom was ideal for an elderly relative who couldn't manage any stairs, and the other bedrooms were all delightfully individual (and all the beds were equally comfortable). Being so close to a pub that served good food was a real bonus, and the garden was lovely. Although the hosts were away during our stay, they were very communicative, and left a welcome letter with a box of scrummy chocolates for us on arrival. Other thoughtful touches like freshly cut flowers from the garden and baskets of snuggly blankets to cuddle up on the sofa with along with books about the area and board games really made us feel at home. Being able to park our cars safely on the drive also gave us peace of mind. All in all a fantastically memorable weekend that we would like to repeat, as it felt much more relaxing than a hotel stay (and much better value too!)

We couldn't find fault with this property (although with seven of us the bathroom good have done with a bigger shelf for all our toothbrushes etc). The only thing we didn't like was having to leave it after two days......we'll just have to go back in the summer! :)

We had a lovely family weekend celebrating a birthday and the four kids ranging 2 to 9 loved the house and garden. The house had everything we needed and was very relaxed and comfortable. The hosts very were friendly and helpful with recommendations on the local takeaways and walks etc.

A wonderful house with a beautiful, stylish interior. Spacious rooms, well-equipped with comfortable beds. The stylish and clean interior allows you to relax in peace and there is a beautiful garden where you can relax. The host was very nice and helpful.

Couldn’t really complain about anything, the upstairs shower is a trouble if you’re tall

A beautiful property, well equipped,spacious and newly decorated. Comfortable beds. Lovely outside spaces to sit in the beautiful gardens. Friendly and helpful owners.

Unfortunately the shower in main bathroom has been installed the wrong end (sloped end) of bath so impossible to stand under

Beautiful annex full of character. Lovely light living space. Well- appointed kitchen. Everything was well presented and welcoming.

We couldn't make the downstairs shower work despite being told about 'the knack' - very disappointing as it was a lovely walk-in shower with a large rain shower head. The upstairs toilet was not flushing well and then broke altogether.

Everything about the property was of an exceptional standard. All of the rooms were beautifully decorated, warm and comfortable.
