Roadrunner's Roost

Near to Joshua Tree National Park entrance. Short distance from 29 Palms. Drivable in 5 minutes. Availability of several grocery stores, petrol and eateries. The home is well furnished and has a well equipped kitchen. Two bedrooms, but only one bathroom which can only be accessed via one bedroom. This would be awkward if travelling as 2 couples as the second couple would have to travel through the others bedroom for the bathroom. Peaceful and relaxing. Milky Way spectacular in the evening with shooting stars. Large outside patio / eating area with gas barbecue. Patricia the guest service contact was quick to respond to any problems or enquiries. Would stay again.

Sofa needs upholstery cleaning as many stains and dirt on fabric.

The property and the view were amazing. The host was very kind and helpful. The place was fully stocked with everything we needed and everything was clean. We even ended up modifying our plans to stay one more night!

Quality of Property and location were excellent!

As mentioned by others, there was certainly a lot e-mail traffic and a rental agreement, which we never needed to carry out at any of the other locations we had booked in the last weeks.

Everything was perfect, location, facilities, support and care by the host. This is a really beautiful place in a wonderful location, excellently managed. We are hoping to be back one day

Location was wonderful — very close to the North Park entrance and y the town of Twentynine Palms. The facilities at Roadrunners Roost were so clean and comfortable— nice shower and double sinks, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable couch and beds, and great sitting area on the porch. Very quiet and peaceful with very little light pollution. You could enter the park at night. One thing we’d change — we’d go to the town of Joshua Tree to eat. We loved the Park and the opportunity to stay in a quiet place — a kind of retreat where we could write.

My husband would have preferred that a fence around the property and/or gates on both sides of the porch to prevent incursions from animals on the prowl especially in the evening. unwelcome visitors.

The location was perfect for hiking at national park.

Only one bathroom, in master bedroom. Awkward for daughter and her boyfriend to use the bathroom at night.

Exceptional accomodation, highly specifications and extremely roomy. And the location...stunning. you are in the desert with no near neighbours and beautiful views without sacrificing comfort or mod cons. We were only using this as a stop off for two nights to see Joshua Tree NP (entrance a two minute drive) but this would be a relaxing place to spend a week.

Nothing. Ideal for a couple. Id note, despite the size, there's only one WC/restroom which is en-suite to master bedroom, so probably best for a couple - or a family with younger children

Great location away from it all yet very comfortable and close to the national park entry. Well furnished and equipped, great porch for stargazing, good communication with the host.
