"A weekend in August"

We found the cottage comfortable, cosy and clean. Very quiet location, in a rural setting

The lanes leading to the site in most directions are extremely narrow and will put off some. Unfortunately the WiFi strength was very patchy

"Lovely quiet property with top class hosts"

Lovely clean property and very quiet. Hosts were amazing and everything you need was instantly available! Great communal courtyard and orchard to explore.

We took 2 sports cars and found the narrow lanes with potholes a bit challenging but with slow driving and quiet lanes we didn’t encounter anything we couldn’t navigate safely.

Superb, quiet location. Barn had everything we needed.Very friendly hosts who had no issues with our various requirements, children loved the animals and woods, if rather wet and muddy!!

Think I will get a smaller car for the narrow wiggly lanes , but then Ottery was built before cars were invented!!

"Fabulous place and a super enjoyable weekend"

Perfect location and really helpful and friendly owners. The cottages are beautiful and it was very special to be part of the farm. It's a quiet rural spot on a hill overlooking the Otter vale which is stunning.

The cottage we stayed in could have benefited with having a small coffee table, but that's a very minor point. The cottage overall was fabulous.
