Riversbend Cottage

Loved how quiet it was. Surrounded by big beautiful trees and you really feel very relaxed while sitting outside and listening to abundance of birds and wildlife. View of the river is nice, the house is spacious and comfortable and allows a person to feel at home. Was great to have my dog with us.

The kitchen wasn’t great, a bit difficult to make your own food. I wish that the host had let us know about the abundance of mosquitoes or provided some mosquito repellent.

The property was in a good location and was clean and well-equipped with all necessary items.

The host sent a message with her mobile number before we arrived. That ensured that communication was accessible. She sent the location, wifi, and key box code the day before arrival. It was easy to check in and made us feel welcome before we arrived.

The location was great.

The property was neglected and dirty, it needs a reno.

The living space

The shower has black mold all over the ceiling and the walls, the one bedroom ceiling leaked and our bag got wet (more mold forming) also the one toilet was clogged up. Place can definitely do with maintenance.

Pet friendly very spacious and comfortable. Well equip3d in quite safe area.

Would of liked it to be closer to beach. All rooms did not have fans to cope with muggy summer heat.
