The towels were clean and smelt nice. The water was nice and hot. The television worked well with a good picture. We had internet that worked most of the time though we did have to try to log in again.

There was nowhere to park despite being told there was. All the paperwork/instructions was out of date and inaccurate. We were really cold until we put the heating on, it took an hour to warm up, we sat with our coats on. Everything was bare and basic with two empty fireplaces.

The house is realy clean and very comfy - we came family of 4 with friends. Realy liked sitting/dinning area, there are some games and toys for kids. All facilities you can neec during the stay is available, cuttlery, plates pans and baking dishes as well available. All bedding nice and clean, towels etc provided - and I think it is briliant. House is pretty much warm, we deffo not freezing at all. There is in front garden BBQ and table with seats and even light if BBQ bit late. Maybe was bit confusing the second bedroom - 2 single beds and we be there 2 couples - one had to sleep separate :-D Kids loved bunk bed and first bedroom - is ace. The parking might be bit stressfull if neighbours parked so need to find a parking somewhere also. But I can deffo recomend this place to stay as it realy nice, comfy and pleasant to stay. Lovely views around

Location was good. The house was warm. Enough equipment in the kitchen to cook etc.

The beds were very uncomfortable and parking was not available outside of the house. We were not given sufficient towels for all guests so we had to share.

The hall was very beautiful. The places was beautiful and spacious.

The temperature was cold, we could control it.

Cheap and cheerful and perfect to base ourselves from in the area

Mattresses are shocking

I was impressed by the fact that the heating was on when we arrived after 6 hours journey. We also had a nice Christmas tree with lights on. Comfortable beds, a big bathroom, a very nice living room with character.

A very stip hill to the cottage but we found an,alternative route. Unfortunately, somebody left their car on the driveway to the cottage so we couldn't stop in front of the house to unload the luggages. We had to park the cars at some distance and make a few journeys from the cars to the house. The heating was not on all the time and we didn't have access to the thermostat. However, we had an extra electric heater which we used.
