Robin 4270

The house exceeded expectations! It was spotlessly clean and very well stocked for a family of 4.

Nothing! It was all great!

Spacious and nicely styled, very clean and a fair amount of privacy given the house is on quite a dense estate. Security on the gate was reassuring and the overall estate seems very well managed, from pool, verges to refuse collection. We could walk to Barringtons which is cracking for eats and ambience.

Dishwasher was not working properly. A safe would be a reassurance for us as we are from overseas and have cash, passports,cameras etc to stow away.

If I could give Robin 4270 11/10 I would. this is truly a piece of heaven just outside Plettenberg bay. The estate is beautiful with a riverside boardwalk, tennis court + small but lovely pool. But it's 4270 itself that is really something special. The house is beautiful inside + out. Everything has been carefully considered to be practical + beautiful, a difficult balance sometimes. The open plan kitchen/living are separated by a super social breakfast bar. There is everything + I mean everything you could ever need in the kitchen, including tools in DIY drawer ❤️. I found everything really intuitively located so could find everything really quickly and feel really at home. Bedrooms are all as lovely as each other, two each side of living room, they are all spacious with lots of storage. Loved the stoop with couch, table + Braai, lovely place to read + relax. If we'd been there longer we would have cooked. Host is also a dream, checked in regregularly to make sure all was ok. Plett itself is beautiful too, relaxed surf town overflowing with excellent cafes + restaurants and surrounded by lots to do. We had an amazing whale watching trip where we saw whales, dolphins + seals. If you are planning a trip, this is the place to stay if it's available!

Tin walls maybe another tv in kids room for evenings if they sit in living room bit noisy if they sit there.

We requested an early check-in, and they were very happy to help us with this and to meet us at the property to help with key hand-over and quick orientation to all the facilities, and were available to help throughout.

Great place, location and good facilities. Lovely host. Good value
