Vineyard cottage Sonce

The host was extremely accommodating, letting us check in earlier and check out much later. The cottage is tastefully furnished and the panoramic views of the countryside are stunning.

We had a great stay with our friends at the cabin. The host was very responsive and the area (which is a vineyard area) was also nice for hiking, as we came here for New Year’s Eve. A big plus were the jacuzzi and sauna, however they had some functioning issues. The host is informed. I can imagine in summer it is absolutely blissful here and we consider returning.

The warm water pressure was low both at the sink and in the shower. The cottage is located after a narrow and steep way, so it’s better you know beforehand.

The house was situated in a quiet location untouched by tourists in the middle of the vineyards, you have complete privacy. The house is equipped with everything you need for your stay. Beds with comfortable mattresses. The owner is very helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

There are few minor thinks that can be improved, but nothing worth to say.

This is a unique place and we felt it in every corner of the cottage. It's clearly a house that the owners put a lot of work and effort into - there are a lot of details that make it special - lots of handmade wooden details, two! well stocked kitchenettes, even the cutlery. Everything we needed was there. And the views were spectacular.

We were looking for a detached house in a quiet area with a nice view, close to the forest, with several rooms, a private sauna and jacuzzi, and a dog-friendly place. All this is here! The terrace has a beautiful view! The sauna and jacuzzi are also super, the house is equipped with everything. You can hear only the birds chirping. Perfect place to relax.

Very nice location, spacious for the four of us and great facilities. We loved the terrace with the huge table and shadowy area. It was great!

It was a little surprising how steep the road was down to the house, but we managed with our car. 😁

We had a very pleasant stay, and loved the view and all the available facilities in the cottage - it's not a big place but it offers everything you could need, and the sauna was a great extra!

This cottage is a gem! I'm spending about 100 nights/year in hotels/appartements and normally do not write recommendations. But this place is really unique and deserves to be discovered by guests who value what they'll get. Built by the owner with his own hands it is perfectly well equipped with everything needed and the pictures match reality but also additionally offers a lot of creative architectural details. One of the two fridges is stuffed with delicacies and wine from nearby farmers. The location of the cottage is in a small vineyard/orchard village quite in the middle of nowhere. As a couple we liked the silence and seclusion of the place to flee from busy daily routine. The streets leading to the cottage are slopy due to its unique location - make sure your car has sufficient chassis clearance. The owners try (as Slovenian tourism does in general) to be as sustainable as possible - if you do not support sustainability in all its ocurrences this might not be your cottage (well then Slovenia is not your holiday destination either). There is for example a hot pot heated up with a wood oven. A really unique construction we've never seen before. There is an extra charge for using it and it takes some time to heat it up. Just ask the owners to help you turn it on. There's also a sauna in the cottage. We've been the second guests in this new cottage and we are really looking forward that this gem hosts many guests who value its concept. The owners really deserve it.
