"Cosy"

10.0

We loved staying in your cottage. It was very cosy & peaceful. There was everything that we needed in the cottage. I loved all your toiletries that you provided. We went for long walks with our dog. Hemsby & other costal beaches are only a short drive away.

Lovely quiet location. Well equipped kitchen. Off road parking. Free WiFi. Cosy comfortable cottage. Plenty of room to sit out in the garden if the weather allows. Away from the "touristy" areas, yet less than 10 minutes by car from California beach.

We would have preferred firmer mattresses on the beds.

"Welcoming host and very cute and cozy cottage, highly recommend."

10.0

It was very homely as opposed to a holiday let thats basic. The furniture was comfy and the beds. It had everything you could possibly need in case you forgot to take something. The only thing we purchased was a sponge for washing up. I would definitely recommend, especially if you have dogs, there is an enclosed garden and parking on the drive which made it much easier to load and unload.

"Great location and a beautiful, comfortable cottage."

9.0

Beautifully presented, comfortable and spotless. It's really well-equipped and felt like a real home from home. Lots of generous extras including jam from the family's farm shop, cookies, and loads of lovely toiletries! I loved the gardens and their quirky lighting and there were even real houseplants (evidently well cared-for too). Despite the main road running behind, the cottage was really quiet and peaceful. It is in a great location for both the coast and the Broads, and lovely to come back to after day out in all weathers!

I thought the dining arrangements let the property down. The bench seat was too high and too narrow to sit on properly and trying to perch on it I also couldn't get my knees under the table because there was a leaf down and no room to put it up. A lower bench, a bit wider, and a different style of table would have made it much more comfortable. A shame because everything else was gorgeous.

"Totally blew me away... what a wonderful place to stay!"

10.0

This cottage far exceeded my expectations. I booked it almost 1 year ago to attend a wedding in the area, knowing then that by the time the trip came around I would have a young baby so figured a house setting would be easier than a hotel. The hosts for this property have thought of absolutely everything, and nearly every room contains little extras that you honestly wouldn't even think to expect but that make your stay that little bit easier. For example almost every mins of toiletry you can think of - cleansers, toners and face scrub as well as shower gel and shampoo, nail varnish remover (this was a life saver as my Polish badly chipped before the wedding and I didnt have time to fix it) even baby shampoo and wash!! Hair bobbles and make up sponges in the bedrooms etc... it was absolutely wonderful to not be stressing about all the little things I forgot when travelling with a baby is hard enough as it is, and it was totally unexpected. The cottage itself is cosy and the area is beautiful. No sachets of nescafe and little pots of milk in sight. There was proper milk in the fridge, coffee grounds and a French press, and some gorgeous cookies waiting for us in the kitchen. The host Paula was incredibly accommodating and so friendly when we had to contact her in a panic as we couldn't find the hair dryer. She was on hand to help and even offered to bring over her own if we couldn't find it. We travel to Norfolk semi regularly to see friends in the area and would 100% stay here again, as well as recommending it to anyone who will listen. We were only there for a couple days sadly but it was comfortable enough that we would absolutely consider doing a longer holiday there with seasides and a wealth of attractions so close by.

There wasn't anything I didnt like. Being 100% transparent there are a fair few harvest spiders that call the cottage home. However they leave you alone and even though I'm not a fan of spiders it was nice to see them being left instead of being inside the hoover... they're also a great help if, like me, you accidently leave a window open with the lights on and all the little.outaide critters come to see whats what 😳 the spiders are definitely eating well this week!! Finally the ONLY thing that would have made our lives easier is if there was a baby bath. BUT I want to be clear that I wouldn't have expected to find one in my wildest dreams so it isnt an expectation. It would have blown me away even more than the cottage already did!
