照宿 Terasu yado

住宿體驗很棒，有家庭感覺。整體設計相當舒服，有回到家的感受。下次如果再去鹿兒島旅遊，仍然會選擇此間民宿。也會推薦給朋友，當作建議的民宿選項。

The host, Teruo-san, was very friendly, kind and responsive. The accommodation was a beautifully renovated old Japanese house, and it was very clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. My kids loved the modern style deep Japanese bathtub.

The Western-style bedroom was located between the dining room and lounge room. It would have been nice to be able to use the lounge room as a master bedroom. That makes more sense for separation and privacy.

The host was friendly and took the effort to take us through all the facilities. Everything was clean and amply provided for. The were air conditioners in every room so that made our stay in winter that much more comfortable. The checkout hours were generous and gave us flexibility in our planning.

It’s a great facility though the square footage is probably slightly less than indicated. Otherwise, no complaints at all.
