Casa Ocre

We loved the authentic old world charm of Casa Ocre. The house was very spacious and the outdoor upper patio was a joy to spend time there. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of counter space

Our friends thought the beds upstairs were uncomfortable.

Great to stay in a family home and it was very authentic. Abit dark and cold but we lit the fire to warm up the house. It was a beautiful house overall.

It was cold when we arrived as it was winter and there is no heating only the fire. But there is wood so we lit the fire.

Beautiful old house

Location was perfect, in the heart of beautiful Vila Nova de Milfontes. It is an authentic Portuguese old style house with a large well-fitted out kitchen, a separate dining area with double doors out to a patio, quite a large, a spacious sitting rm. and 2 bedrooms downstairs( 1 double and a single) and bathroom, and a twin and separate bathroom upstairs. Also there is a beautiful veranda upstairs with outdoor seating which overlooks the centre of the town .

Everything was perfect..a little pricey for 2 people. It would have been great if a few basic cooking ingredients such as olive oil, chilli etc., even washing powder were provided as difficult to carry these items if walking with back packs!

We had a great stay! The apartment was big, very clean, and well organized. The location was perfect, very close to the beach. I strongly recommend :)
