Al Baglio

The apartment was modern clean and comfortable. The rear of the property has a small table and chairs. Perfect for morning coffee and a wine in the evening. Just a short walk to the main thoroughfare and its cafes bars and retail shops.

it was quite dark inside the property. But was much improved when doors and shutters could be left open. I rarely did though as it opened directly onto the street. The street wasn’t very busy but i was not comfortable leaving the doors open for long. There is major building work being carried out further along the street consequently it could be very noisy at times. This would most likely be a short term problem.

The perfect location. Can walk to everything. Had free parking near by which was amazing. Very spacious stay

Beautiful location and very helpful host. Close to the city beach and historical centre. The apartment was clean and also had a nice backyard.

Could need some more tools for cooking, like knifes, spatula and cutting board.

Perfect

We stayed at Al Baglio for 5 nights and couldn't find anything to dislike. The location is in the centre of the old town, very quiet yet 5 minutes walk from the restaurants and shopping on Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi and beautiful piazza Petrolo. Communication with the host Nino was perfect, he met us, handed the key and showed around. The property itself is modern and clean, the kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom is fully functional, clean and modern. There is a small patio at the rear of the property where swimwear can de dried. We had fabulous stay and can't praise Nino and his family enough for their hospitality. Castellamare is highly reccomended as a base to visit nearby beaches and Zingaro natural reserve. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Castellamare. Thank you so much, Nino!
