Montserrat La Calsina

Sunrises and sunsets are exceptional here. Nature around is awesome. The house is beautiful. The owner (Mrs. Anna) is very kind and communication with her was perfect and very pleasant.

Our colleagues were only sad that it was a business trip, so they didn’t have their families with them (to fully enjoy the atmosphere). - You must have a car, grocery store is not within a walkable distance.

A stunning place to stay at — the views are just spectacular! Anna was very friendly, warm and helpful, we felt very well cared for. We had the pool all for ourselves and spent the whole Saturday there. A cool thing — there's a fridge in the area near the pool, so we were able to have cold drinks while enjoying the sun.

Wonderful location and perfect for visiting the monastery of Montserrat . Also perfect for hiking .

Location is a bit remote and can be difficult to get around if you don't have a car . We had a car so didn't affect us

Going up the road to the monastir de montserrat we had to leave this way in a sharp bend taking a small path to la Calsina which made us a bit puzzled about the correct direction, but following through we ended up on a kind of plateau, which was surprisingly beautiful, a phantastic location with a great view on the Mountserrat mountains as well as on the village Monistrol de MountSerrat in the valley: a quite appealing and peaceful location, from which we made a number of nice walks/hikes. The house was sufficiently spacy for four people, including a nice terrace. Everything we needed was available. Kitchen, bath room (with toilet) were clean. A absolute bonus was the large swimming pool (just around the corner), quite well maintained, clean water, sunbeds, cooled beverages (at cost).

Small point of attention: the front (access) door could only be closed with the key, which meant that we had to leave it open if some of us went for swimming while the others stayed at home.

The flat is really cute and there were little touches that made you welcome - chocolates, a bottle of wine, extra firewood when I asked.

The TV and music form next door was a little too loud but our neighbour, Marco was really lovely too so fine really.
