Araucaria House

We were welcomed with open arms by Maribel and Manuel. After being shown around the house, we were offered a welcome drink. The accomodation is outstanding, superior to some 5 star hotels. Our room which was downstairs, was clean, spacious and tastefully furnished. The walled garden was so quiet and peacefull, a real haven after motoring Northen Spain.

Everything about this place was special. The hosts were charming, the house has been beautifully and creatively renovated, everything is tasteful and even the minutest detail has been considered carefully. The walled garden is a delight, mature, tranquil with an abundance of fruit trees. Our room was spacious, the bed comfortable with lovely, crisp linen. The breakfast was relaxed and excellent.

We couldn't fault it.

Sobald man dieses liebevoll und aufwändig renovierte und eingerichtete Haus mit seinem riesigen, schön gestalteten Garten betritt, fühlt man sich wie im Paradies. Die Gastgeber sind liebenswert, aufmerksam, hilfsbereit, …….

Une super adresse. Les proprietaires sont aux petits soins, la chambre était très cozy et le petit déjeuner très bon. Le jardin et les différentes salles sont un plus

Nous avons bénéficié d'un accueil exceptionnel, comme si nous arrivions chez des amis. La propriété familiale a été restaurée majestueusement. Nous en adorons l'âme et la qualité. Tout y est parfait : les conseils de nos hôtes, les boissons d'accueil, nos échanges, les petits-déjeuner, la chambre... Si nous revenons dans cette belle région, nous savons où poser nos bagages ! Nous vous conseillons de vous y arrêter pour y passer plusieurs jours agréables et appaisants.

Wir waren bereits in vielen gut geführten Hotels aber nirgendwo haben wir uns so wohl gefühlt wie im Araucaria House. Das liebevoll und bis ins Detail restaurierte Bauernhaus mit dem wunderschönen Garten ist ein kleines Paradies, nah an den schönen Stränden Galiziens. Die Ausstattung ist top, das Frühstück ausgezeichnet und die Gastgeber Maribel und Manuel sind unglaublich sympathisch und hilfsbereit. El alojamiento fue fantástico lo mires por donde lo mires, las habitaciones, el desayuno, todas las estancias en las que se podía estar... simplemente maravilloso. A todo esto hay que sumar la amabilidad y cercanía de Manuel y Maribel, atentos siempre a todos los detalles e intentando que estuviéramos cómodos continuamente. Sin lugar a dudas, un destino que repetiremos en un futuro, esperemos que lo más cercano posible.

El acceso es mejorable.

Destacamos la amabilidad y atención de la dueña. Desayunos muy completos y caseros, muy buena opción el desayuno adaptado sin lactosa/gluten. Habitaciones muy amplias y cómodas. Repetiremos 😊
