Casa Pacios by M de Santiago

old rustic 16th century building that has been renovated to all the modern expectations. very clean and so much room for a modest price. the heat was on and the water was hot! really when walking the Camino, what else could you ask for.

Cold, they turn the heater on only for a few hours, very cold facilities. Very far from town.

Rustic, beautiful, rural

Travelers need to know that they will have to eat dinner before they are transported out to the property. Also there are no laundry services at the property. The host was very good about transporting us to and from town. Breakfast is available at the property.

The hotel was in a beautiful setting, with a lovely cow pasture outside, a beautiful common room and dining hall, and the rooms had the perfect balance of antiques and modern bathroom appliances. The staff went out of their way to make sure my every need was met, including driving me to town for supplies and even taking me for a tour of the town. I can’t wait to return!!

The host was our driver. he would drive us into town as we needed.

The rooms were well appointed but terribly cold. luckily there were extra blankets in the wardrobe. I couldn’t image how hot it would be in the height of summer

Fernando’s hosting is kind and attentive. The blissful calm of this handsome farmhouse, surrounded by local farms, means it is a short distance from the village but Fernando will make sure you are where you want to be and when. He is a beloved integrated part of Triacastela’s social fabric. Thanks to him I attended a (free) local music and cultural festival, a wonderful taste of Galicia.
