Residenza i Platani

Apartamento en el casco antiguo del pueblo (precioso de visitar), cerca hay diversos parkings donde dejar el coche, ya que el edificio se encuentra en una zona de tráfico limitado. Amplio y limpio (baño incluido). Cama cómoda. No utilizamos la cocina por lo que no pudimos valorar si estaban las cosas básicas para hacer uso de ella. Personal amable.

The apartment is newly renovated, very clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the serene feel and view from the terrace. Although the “old world” design has been preserved, the modern amenities were appreciated; comfortable bed, great shower, and efficient kitchenette. Sabrina was the quintessential host attending to our every need with warmth and hospitality. We also loved her restaurant, Restorante Lazaroun, which is adjacent to the apartment. Although our stay was only one night, the Residenza i Platani was one of the best and most memorable places we’ve stayed on our trip!

Overall very poor experience. the only good thing was the friendly staff and fairly clean flat. The restaurant downstairs is very good and crowded with locals in the evenings.

We got what I think is the worst apartment in the building, right over the restaurant. The pictures of this one were not even shown on booking.com so I attach my own. It was furnished with super old and destroyed furniture (bed, armchairs), the bedroom was very shabby, the decoration somewhat random. There is no noise insulation - at night (1:00 am) I was woken up by the last guests finishing the party, shouting and laughing (although the restaurant is officially open until 22:30). In the morning you can hear your neighbours flushing the toilet, drying their have and having conversations with their partners. On top of that, I woke up to no warm water in the morning, couldn’t take a shower. Overall we left more tired than we arrived. For the price we paid (110€) it was unacceptable. I would not recommend this accommodation. PS. A nice touch would be to put coffee machine and at least some basic equipment in the kitchen (salt, sugar, coffee, tea).
