Shepherd's Hut at St Anne's - Costal Location

The property was in a great location with access to coastal walks.

The mattress was uncomfortable… we did mention this to the staff… Walking to the toilet and shower that was in another block… the weather wasn’t great so got very wet…. Plus the toilet and shower was shared with another shepherds hut…both shepherds huts needed their own bathroom… we had to wait to use it in the morning…

Location was perfect for my Devon Air Ambulance walk the next day.

It was as described very small! Could do with some crockery perhaps?

Amazing little hid away close to Plymouth centre and local shops. Very cute and the owner could do enough

The location was ideal for the walking we had planned. It was quiet which suited us and the hut was comfortable for the stay.

Breakfast could do with being more varied, fine for a night or 2 but not for longer stays. There was no water available in the hut which was a shame. The site is also heavily lit (H&S regs??) which had an impact on sleep quality with the lights lighting up the inside of the hut.

Comfy Room and Breakfast was nice although I only had time for 1 x breakfast due to time constraints

Staff were especially friendly, recommending local places to eat for the evening. The Shepard hut was ao cute and cosy. It was very clean, and the best was so so comfy. The area itself was nice and quiet, with no noises at night at all. The grounds itself were lovely, and all set in a gorgeous little location. So much room in the hut as well. It is as small as the pictures make it seem, however it doesn't feel small or cramped when you are in there at all. Ample room. Such good value for money as well. We will not hesitate to book again if we are down Plymouth way. Highly recommended. Booked as a last minute get away and it was just the relaxing quality time that we needed.

I'm struggling to find anything unpositive to say. The only thing that comes to mind would be maybe a matt or additional area before going into the toilets so shoes can be removed. As in the morning, muddy footprints were around the shower area. But of course, that is simply the nature of the type of accommodation.
