Moresby Hall Country House Hotel

Stunning building outside and in. Beautiful garden. Bedroom was huge with cloakroom and large shower room. Decor and furnishings were fantastic too.

I have no negative comments

Joint owner (?) Stephanie was terrific. When Satnav failed she guided us by phone and waited outside to flag us down. Was so welcoming and knowledgeable. Room was lovely and named " Munro " as is our grandson. All in all, a great experience!

Traditional, clean and spacious

A real gem - lovely place to stay, warm, comfortable, an excellent breakfast and friendly, professional staff. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing - everything was great.

The evening meal and breakfast were delicious, all our rooms exceeded our expectations and the staff could not have done more for us and were all lovely. We had complimentary champagne and enjoyed this in the garden. Steph brought out games and we had some fun in the sunshine. One of our party had a tour of the property and was delighted to learn about the history. The team suggested visiting the church opposite to watch the sun go down which was beautiful and a lovely end to the day.

The house is lovely and decorated very nicely.We had a lovely welcome and bought a nice drink in the lounge.They let us store our bikes inside as we were on our way to cycle the C2C. The breakfast and evening meal were good.

I know it is the nature of the building but our room was up the stone spiral staircase with low beams near the bed.The windows are velux so no view.

No hot water to the shower on the morning of departure. On advising the staff I got a response of ok thanks for letting me know.
