A warm welcome and great service from the team.

Mattress and bedding could be a bit better/firmer.

Young staff in restaurant and bar were all excellent. Sunday dinner was very good apart from the fourth meat (which we had paid for) not being available. Bar prices were fairly standard for a hotel of this catagory. Room was fine though somewhat hot. Everywhere was clean and well maintained. The gardens outside were lovely to sit with a drink on a sunny summer afternoon. Breakfast was excellent and it was a joy to be served rather than it being a self service buffet. We will definitely return to the hotel

The Sunday dinner carvery menu offers a choice of smaller or large dinner. We chose the slightly more expensive large which should have had four meats but only three were available and no one actually mentioned this while they were serving it. It was only when we sat down that we realised. We had plenty anyway but it would be an issue for some. Staff were struggling to keep on top of refilling veg etc. As mentioned earlier all staff worked very hard and were cheerful and professional.

Location great location

Bathroom was too small, room 107, found it difficult to use because of its size. Sink not big enough to brush teeth, overall very tight for one person, would have been impossible for two. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Bed was comfortable and well serviced. There are a lot of weddings at the venue and this can sometimes impact on the noise levels, but overall a nice stay.

Lovely breakfast, good choice and very friendly restaurant staff. Comfortable bed.

Outdated room, lack of iron and ironing board per room, no USB sockets. No electric charging points for EVs.

All the staff were super friendly, and very helpful - as I was running late (I had just got off The Isle Of Man ferry in Liverpool) they kept the kitchen open beyond their closing time for me so that I could have dinner, which was greatly appreciated.

Great welcome, lovely friendly receptionist . Our room was spacious with a lovely bed ! Also we were given a voucher for a buy one cavery get one free so that was dinner sorted !

They didn’t take cash for the room . Also breakfast was disappointing
