Very peaceful rural hideaway - lovely walks right from the front door Excellent breakfast

Wonderful hospitality of the owner, well equipped bedroom, quiet location away from the slow traffic filled roads of Bournemouth/Christchurch/Poole. Country walk on doorstep and lovely garden to sit in. Kind owner let us stay past the check out time as had lunch time flight.

Would be good to have what is on offer in the continental breakfast written on a board in breakfast room. Nothing to do with the host/house, but note while is walkable to Bournemouth airport from end of their lane, it is made difficult to deter you with a narrow soft sand path so that you must carry and cannot easily pull your luggage. There are also no pedestrian access signs as they want the drop off fee in their car park.

Amazing hosts, my go to place to stay before an airport visit. beautiful area and lovely people who run it. 10/10

I can't fault it

Very close to Bournemouth Airport (5 mins) which was my destination, but in a quiet location and not under the flight path so I didn’t hear any aircraft or traffic noise at all. Lovely house with parking immediately in front. Bedroom on first floor was very clean and comfortable with modern bathroom facilities (excellent shower). Mike, the host, was welcoming and could not have been more helpful. I will definitely stay at Heronshaw House again.

Breakfast was lovely . Mike was very accommodating for our Vegan requirements. Charming room at the back of the beautiful building and our dog felt very at home too. Highly recommend

Maybe TV in the room as lounge slightly more formal but other than that nothing.
