Agroturizam Na Malenom brijegu BAKINA VIKENDICA

Vratili smo se nakon 6 godina i ponovno nam se svidjelo. Domaćini su izvrsni, vrlo ljubazni, kućica odlična sa predivnim pogledom i terasom, pogotovo u jesen kad ima smisla naložiti peć. Sve je bilo onako kako smo očekivali. U svakom slučaju, topla preporuka. Doručak je preobilan i fantastičan, restoran vikendom služi odličnu janjetinu.

Kućica, možda, zaslužuje sitnije popravke.

Very pleasant surprise rigt after arrival, breathtaking place, friendly atmosphere.

The owner was very helpful and welcoming, showing us how to make schlivovitz, and offering a sample to welcome us. The property is located high in a valley and your rooms overlook the orchards and horse pastures. For us, it was ideal for hiking and just hanging out, but also close enough to town to have a good dinner.

The property is located on the end of a ridge with panoramic views of the countryside. The listing didn't make it clear that this was an agrotourism property and we arrived late (9pm) hoping the restaurant would still be open. It doesn't open in the evening but the owners were incredibly hospitable and made us a plate of cheese, cold meats and bread - very delicious! The following evening they were hosting a party for a local couple (something which they only do occasionally) and were concerned that the noise might disturb us. We were invited to join the party (which we declined) but weren't bothered by the noise, the carafe of homemade wine we were given probably helped with sleeping! Breakfast was delicious - a large plate of eggs with bacon & vegetables with bread, cheese and jam. On the second morning we also had liver as they'd just had a whole lamb for the party. As well as farming sheep they have horses and grow lots of fruit & veg. The owner, who's name is Mladin (I think!) proudly showed us around before we left. They make a range of home produced products including wine and some excellent Slivovica! The apartment is spacious, clean and with comfy beds, it has a small kitchen area but we didn't use this, and a large comfy sofa plus a dining table. The view from the balcony is superb and there's plenty of parking space. The dogs and cat are friendly too.

Wifi doesn't work well enough in the apartment to watch a film on a laptop so bring a book or sit on the balcony with a glass of wine.... Mobiles just about worked ok.

The place is real gem. We loved it even though we did not come because the main attraction - horses. It is a quiet place surrounded by nature and is perfect for nature lovers, families and people with dogs. Hospitality and quality of food were excellent all our wishes were met and we hope to come back to Country House Na Malenom brijegu.
