"Disappointing, but the property had potential to be a great stay"

Large room comfortable bed

Bathroom was tired and shower was grubby and not working very well, radiator was rusty and corroded. Sinks were blocked. Not sure the " 're - wilding " of the outside area worked, looked like an abandoned property. Very poor signage on the entrance, drove by three times before finding it.

"Calm , magical and peaceful ."

Lovely appointed room with extremely comfortable bed. Beautiful house in extremely quiet and peaceful location . Simon is a particularly attentive host and went way beyond the call of duty to sort out a problem with my booking. Breakfast was excellent , served to us in our room . Unfortunately we had to leave too early and couldn’t explore the beautiful wild garden and woodland . Next time hopefully. Thank you.

"Magic!"

The house is stunning. So much work gone into it. Beds extremely comfortable. Rooms large and decor really well done. Welcome received was great. Breakfast was served in bed and it was simple and delicious, all ingredients of very high quality and local. Surrounding the house is a small wood and garden which have been allowed to go wild. It has a lovely trail within with small nooks to sit and take in the peace of the place. This is such a different experience. I would go back in a heart beat.
