The outside area is fantastic, there is plenty of space to relaxing in the shadow and the sun. The surroundings are beautiful and calm. The house is extremely clean, you can see that they put a lot of attention in that. It is easy to access and is nearby a lot of nice beaches and points of interest. The welcoming was lovely too and everything was demolished to us clearly. There are no close by neighbors with the exception of a small house nearby but is quite far enough so there is a god feeling for privacy. a lovely place to which we would definitely return.

If you are looking for piece, quiet surroundings and some privacy, Casita Mari Carmen is the place go, visiting the north part of the island. The Casita offers everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday, only thing to add is optionally a rented car for easy reach of things you want to visit and experience, like some of the excellent restaurants nearby. The reception from the owner arriving the Casita is particulary kind and helpful, and gives you the best possible kick off for your stay.

Due to late incoming internal mail through the Booking Com system, imformation about arrival details (i.e. key hand over) was not available, forcing me to contact Booking Com helpline. (where I got help enabling me to proceed) Fortunately, the owner had been waiting patiently nearby and showed up a few minutes later. Some chairs for outdoor use with a bit more comfort would be welcomed

This casita is an independent house for app. four persons thus it was even too big for just two of us. It is located in a perfect quiet place situated near the mountains and the sea (both visible and accessible just in a few minutes), surrounded by locals and permanently on the island living foreigners (mainly British and German). We could observe a local shepherd going to the mountains with hundreds of his goats while sunbathing or eating outside, watch both the rising sun and the moon over the Atlantic ocean, go to the charcos (small natural depressions in which water collects) to have a dip during a warm day (or simply choose to chill in the jacuzzi right behind the house). The Jardin de Cactus, Jameos del Agua and Cueva de Los Verdes are rather near, the island of Graciosa is easily accessible (20–25 minutes by car to the ferry in Órzola). It is important to mention that one who is looking for the industrial accommodation / entertainment should definitely not go there! This place is meant for the quality individual stay. The owners of the place are there to provide with any information needed at any time which is highly appreciated!

However, there is always what could be improved in this accommodation, e.g., 1) Recycling (for separating paper, plastic, glass etc. waste inside before removing it to the outside containers). 2) Dehumidifier (as in the low season's evenings it might get rather damp and thus it feels even colder). 3) Mattress protection (there are better options without sizzling plastic that makes one sweat a lot).

We had a wonderful stay, the house is located in a cul-de-sac in a spacious plot with some orange and lemon trees, and mountain views. Super quiet, a paradise if you are looking for total silence and privacy but with some neighbors nearby for some company :) Great hosts, very attentive and friendly.

Beds are comfy enough, but would have been great to have a double bed instead of twin beds. We couldn't stay longer :(
