Quirky, gated estate in the country (but next to a motorway). There were tame deer, geese and gens roaming around. The rooms, lake and indoor heated pool were lovely.

Breakfast wasn't good value

"You won't forget this place (in a good way)."

It is a mixture of fancy and funky. The heated pool, grounds, and window-wall views from the room are memorable. We liked the near nature-reserve aspect with all the animals, paths, outdoor areas, and hideaways. The other facilities: lounges, large common kitchen, and outdoor seating are very impressive but not as well maintained as the rooms. We can, however, strongly recommend this stay - it is one of a kind.

The common kitchen lacked a few items that would have made it more useful. The heated pool seemed a bit too heated. And if there are good restaurants any closer than Mira beach, we could not find them.
