Casas Rurales Los Manantiales

The location is fantastic and ideal for walking. Unfortunately, the weather in early spring was very poor. A place to stay in the summer.

When we arrived the key safe was broken. We had to wait 40 minutes for the housekeeper to come back with an alternative key. Fortunately it wasn’t raining at that point, but this would have been a major issue an hour later when it started to pour with rain as there was nowhere to shelter. The facilities are very dated. We stayed here 10 years ago and the kitchen equipment and bedding seemed to be the same as then. The accommodation is not so cheap to justify such poor fittings. The owner needs to spend some money on improving the property

This is a delightful little house in Los Manantiales, a remote hamlet of a dozen or so houses. There is a lovely view of hills and barrancos from the window, and also from the sunny patio. The shower was hot and the WiFi was solid. The bedding was plentiful for the cold nights that are possible here, although we had pleasant weather in February. There is plenty of heating in the house. It's about a 20-minute walk to Chipude where there is a restaurant, a bar and a small grocery shop (closed Sundays).

Está en un sitio muy centrado en la isla. El silencio y la tranquilidad

Tienes que dejar lejos el coche y bajar 64 escalones que luego hay que subir y si vas cargado peor. La puerta no abre bien y al girar la llave hay que empujar o no se abre. Solo hay una ventana en el cuarto de estar, por lo que es muy oscura y las habitaciones sin ventana y solo un tragaluz arriba y en una ellas no se podía abrir. No ha sido la más acogedora en la que hemos estado.
