Fabulous location, and a wonderfully cosy accommodation, excellently positioned for many hikes. I had a hire car, but even without, there is very good local bus transport (& frequent taxi service) to the closest village, Chipude. Gem of a location.

Not a compaint, but linens and towels, though probably clean, are very worn/old and could do with being renewed. Repeat, not a compaint, just a suggestion.

I’m comfortable with roughing it, so this place was luxurious in comparison. The remote location was really fun. I spent hours hiking the surrounding area.

I would suggest providing better preparation for visitors. I was unaware that the kitchen supplies would be so sparse. Not even salt and pepper. I arrived at night and had no food until the next day when I hiked to the store about a mile away. And then I wasn’t sure how to get to it. If they had warned me I would have brought everything I needed. I also would have liked a reminder to copy my passport ahead of time, rather than having to do that at midnight.

Unique, well-equipped cottage in a picturesque setting…close to numerous hiking trails in the National Park. Faces west and if clear, there would be incredible sunsets (unfortunately, there were clouds each night we were there)

Following Google Maps, we ended up on a dirt road that was not passable in anything but a 4x4. The property owners need to post clear directions on how to get to the location safely. Note the weather when booking here as you need to expect that the temperature will be 5-10 degrees cooler than on the coast of the island.

Quiet location with a beautiful view in the rural landscape, hiking paths around which are also connected to the national park. Supermarket, restaurant and taxi are on the walking distance from the apartmet.
