Casa Rural Ozollo

The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Everything was spotless and breakfast was cheap and nice. Can't wait to go back and maybe take some ceramics lessons with the host.

We loved our 3 night stay here, so much so we wanted another night but it was booked out unfortunately. Fabulous location with so much to do (We had our own car). It’s near to amazing walks and beaches (lovely walk down to the estuary just left out of the drive). The lady owner was really helpful and gave us a map with recommendations of walks and restaurants. Our Spanish is non existent and she spoke some English but we had already got a great booklet from the tourism office in Bermeo (cute fishing village) which explained all the hiking routes in the Urbadai area in detail which I would recommend. We also walked over to the island called Hermitage of St John The Baptist (Gaztelugatxe). It is free but you need to book a time to visit online beforehand as it books out quickly. It’s a very steep walk down and best to do when not so hot ! Our favourite beach to swim was Laga, clear water and not too crowded but get there early as the car park fills up and then everyone parks along the road. Our room was spotlessly clean. We had a nice continental breakfast at small extra charge. She gave us a kettle, tea bags and milk which was much appreciated. Would thoroughly recommend and hope to return some day.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful area. There were lovely walks right outside the door and within short drives. The host was friendly and helpful and provided a lovely breakfast at a low charge. We were also able to use the kitchen to cook evening meals which was really useful.

A small point but a kettle to boil water would be great for tea drinkers. We used a pan on the stove instead.
