Chozos Rurales El Solitario

Attractive concept. Kice location. The size of the rooms is nice. The quality of the beer in frozen glasses.

The hotel is not well maintained. It was not perfectly clean. It is a bit oldish wheress there is potential. We also had chosen the hotel for the pool. And the pool was closed.

We enjoyed the quirky feel of the hut. The food in the nearby restaurant was excellent value. We travelled in a low classic car so unfortunately the road down to the accommodation wasn’t suitable as there are a few humps. Great for a normal car no doubt, but we were able to park near the restaurant under a shade cover. We didn’t cook in the hut but felt there would have been suitable utensils if needed. There wasn’t a kettle that we could see but used a pan to boil water for drinks.

The pool was being renovated during our stay which was disappointing as we chose this property during hot weather so we could relax in the pool. Although this didn’t spoil our stay but may have enhanced our feelings towards it, we found the hut to lack coziness and curb appeal. The furniture inside is bland and basic and there were tatty plastic out door furniture just plonked outside. The huts deserve a little TLC.

Have stayed previously when travelling through Spain. Very convenient location just off the motorway but very quiet and relaxing. Basic but very clean.

Kitchen very poorly equipped.

We liked the set up, the environment, the care. Obviously someone with a vision designed it like it is today. Just wonderful.

Excellent location! Very calm. Although it is close to the motorway, you will not be bothered by the noise at all. Nice surroundings. Very nice and helpful staff. There is a good restaurant on the premises, with very nice food. The Chozos were very cozy and clean

The energy saving light bulbs are “cold white” and therefore detract from the cozy atmosphere in the cabins. A tip; warm white energy saving lightbulbs do exist 😉 (at the same price)

The originality of the construction and the surroundings. The cherry blossom were really beautiful

The temperature was too high in the house, especially in the upper part.

Absolutely wonderful cute little houses. Very clean with all facilities. The jacuzzi after a long drive hit the spot! Beautiful views and great facilities We didn't stay the right time of the year for the pool so will need to go back! It was completely silent, the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in and I going to look for the same bedding which was super cosy. Very friendly staff and the breakfast was lovely. The restaurant closed dinner before we arrived again next time!

Mid way between our home and holiday venue, and our dogs are accepted. The tariff was more than usual but we were travelling just before the main holiday period of 6th Jan so understandable that it was 30€ more than usual. The staff are always very helpful and welcoming. We will continue to stay at this location.

It was fine- nothing to say against but we are used to staying here but you must collect your wood yourself and the kitchen equipment is limited.

Accepted dogs. Location from home to holiday destinations quaint!

If you want to light the fire there are no indications of where to find wood. We know as we’ve stayed several times.
