Casa Los Pinos

We enjoyed our 4 nights in Casa Los Pinos very much. The house is quite big, everything we needed was provided. The pool is perfect and refreshing during hot afternoons. Communication with the host via Whatsapp was very clear. Would definitely come back!

Location was good very quiet ,peaceful, lovely coffee shop and spar within a short walk , you would need to have a car not on the main road

The only thing we did not enjoy was the small double bed

We absolutely loved this house! Beautifully renovated and very comfortable on the inside. Although it's just at the edge of the town, the outside areas are completely private, and the patio at the pool has beautiful views of the mountains. The location is great - for us, we really preferred to not stay right in the middle of the resorts, as we wanted a bit more access to nature, so found that Mogan was perfect for this - only a 10min drive to beaches and resorts, but we had a couple of great hikes right from Mogan, and could also do some great scenic drives.

The property is pleasant, clean and has the amenities you need for cooking (if the power stays on). Mogan is very quiet, a good local walk up the hill is a nice way to spend half a day. Manager met us at the property on time.

We were very much looking forward to our stay in Mogan as the highlight of our holiday for my partners big birthday and we had booked Casa Los Pinos as a special treat. Unfortunately with under 24 hours until we would be at the property, I received a message stating that we would have to pay an additional 50 Euros cleaning fee upon arrival. Obviously booking.com's payments are complete before the stay and there are not usually hidden fees. I scoured the websites terms and conditions and could not find anywhere in the properties descriptions regarding the additional payment. We knew the pool would be an additional cost but as it is cold water in February, we were not going to use this anyway. I continued to receive further messages notifying me of the extra hidden charge. It took any excitement out of staying here and made it a stress rather than a joy. I ended up having to chase it up with booking.com customer service - not what you want when you are trying to enjoy a holiday! They may well have increased the price now to swallow this fee. Do also note that you cant seem to use more than 2 or 3 electrical items at one time as the power will trip, we couldn't find the relevant fuse box to reset the power so had to abandon a half cooked meal. We had the extractor and induction hob in use and thought that it was a power cut to the area. The manager did come to the property quickly to rectify this which was good of them. Parking is scarce, like most of Gran Canaria!

Beautifully decorated to a high standard. Spotlessly clean. Private swimming pool. Situated in the centre of town but very quiet. Short walk to supermarket and restaurants. Lovely helpful hosts.

It was perfect.

The house is really special with it's stoney walls it must be really nice and cool in the summer. We visited in January and the temperature was perfect. I appreciated the unique architecture and the lovely and private area around the pool. The hosts were super nice, personally greeted us and gave us a lot of tips on what to do in the area.

The pool water was quite chilly (24 degrees) but that's to be expected in January. Everything else was amazing.

Surrounded by mountains, Los Pinos oozes charm and character and is situated in a beautiful and peaceful location. A perfect place to escape to. There are lots of lovely restaurants within walking distance serving traditional dishes. We especially enjoyed a meal at Valle de Mogan restaurante. The hosts Laura and Juan were very kind and attentive and were there to greet us on our arrival at 10pm. We enjoyed the bottle of wine they left us. The house was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. Having our own swimming pool was a real bonus and the views were idyllic.
